Canada Soccer has finished the authority Preliminary Round draw for the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship. The activity is set to start off this April, with 14 clubs competing across four rounds and 19 matches in the yearly “Clash of the North”, competing for the option to be delegated Canadian Boss and raise the Voyageurs Cup.
Friday’s draw results laid out the Preliminary Round matchups as well as the pathway for all clubs through the Quarter-Final phase of the opposition.
With the matchups presently affirmed, Canada Soccer will work with the participating clubs to affirm the Preliminary Adjust timetable and kick times which will be reported right away.
Preliminary Cycle (23 April – 1 May) | Single Knockout
- Match 1: Rangers FC v Vancouver FC
- Match 2: Atlético Ottawa v Bravery FC
- Match 3: Pacific FC v Victoria Highlanders FC

For the Preliminary Round, the most elevated positioned club in the coordinate, in view of the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship Club Ranking Index, will have the single match. For the Quarter-Final and Semi-Final rounds, the two of which will be played as two-match home and away series, the lower-ranking club will have the primary leg of the series, with the higher-ranking club hosting the second leg of the series.

Following the fruition of the Quarter-Final stage, an optional draw will determine both the Semi-Final matchups, as well as which Semi-Final series winner will proceed to have the Final Match. The Ranking Index won’t be utilized to determine the Host of the Final Match, allowing each club within the opposition the opportunity to have.
